I am a 44 year old man who is seeking companionship. I have been single-completely single for a year after a 6 year relationship. I figured it was time to try something new, so here I am. I am interested in many things that range from long conversations to cooking,reading,watching movies and walks. I have been a teacher for about 13 years and was a teachers assistant for about 7, talk about being a patient person. I like to laugh and see the silly part in life,God knows there are too many serious and stressful moments as is. I have two beautiful daughters who are teens. I am also developing a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. I am perfect at being imperfect so everyone is perfect for me because no one is perfect(say that 10 times fast-lol) as long as there is chemistry and humor.I have learned through life's lessons that judging and over-correction do not work in any type of relationship whether giving it or receiving it. To be honest I have given these and messed up and I have received these and have been messed up, so now i work hard not to be part of judging and over-correcting.I also need the person to be affectionate,this can be shown thru a smile, a wink, a light touch of the hands or a quick hug. In my opinion this has become a lost art-I just don't see this done often enough.
